Rush week is one of the most exciting times for incoming freshmen! During the course of the week you can expect your daughter to meet lots of great girls and learn all about each sororities philanthropies. Deciding which sorority to choose can sometimes be very tricky and even a bit stressful. However, deciding what to wear each day will be a piece of cake when you shop at Alibi Boutique. Day 0 of the recruitment process at Texas State University is less than a week away!!
Day 0: Casual, what you wear to class.
This is definitely THE day to actually dress up for class. Leave those leggings and that over sized t-shirt back at your dorm. Recruitment is not the time to be sporting norts. I would suggest a cute pair of shorts and a fun patterned top. This is Texas, so you can count that it will be 100+ degrees outside. Pair those with some fun sandals (ALL sandals are 40% off at Alibi Boutique) and a bright pair of Danielle earrings and you will be good to go!
Day 1: Casual, wear your Panhellenic shirt and be sure to have comfy shoes.
This is the day your accessories definitely need to be on point. Everyone is required to wear the same shirt, so you want to make sure you stand out from the crowd. Again, I would suggest some fun shorts and cute sandals. This would be the perfect time to break out that beautiful Kendra Scott Harlow or Rayne Necklace to jazz up the t-shirt.
This is the day you get to show your personality! You can wear your favorite jeans, a cute top, a fun dress and the list goes on. Our lovely model, Kourtney, thought this would be a great outfit option for Day 2. The color is bright and cheery and the length of the dress is just right. Oh and did I mention this dress has pockets?! Amazing. Because this is a solid dress, she choose to make a statement with an iridescent Kendra Scott Harlow necklace. Looks fab Kourtney!
By Day 3 things are beginning to get a bit more serious. The maximum number of houses you will be able to visit is 4 and you can expect to see some fun skits preformed by your future sisters. It is suggested that you wear something you would be comfortable wearing to a job interview and I think this dress is perfect!! Who said business has to be boring?? Day 4 is Preference Night and this is the day you've been waiting for. You will be down to 2 different houses and things are getting very serious. You've got a big decision ahead of you my friend, but don't worry, you can do it :) Kourtney is looking flawless in this little black number. If you need a little black dress look no further. This dress is fun and flirty! The beading around the neck even takes away the need for a necklace. Bonus! Oh and again this dress has pockets....you're welcome. What happens after Day 4 will be some of the best days of your life. During this week you will be finding sisters not for 4 years, but for life!
